So finally Monday the 11th of October Kongkhao Restaurant will open. At first it was a simple traditional Lao wooden house on its way out and we turned it back to its original splendor and more... It's been a tough few months, bringing the place back to life, painting it, refurbishing it, making it special... but day after day the place started to resemble our dream more and more and here we are; the miracle has happened. On Monday we'll be proud to share our creation with all of you! we constructed a wooden deck outside without bothering the trees that were previously there so that you can enjoy the shade in the sunny days and scent the blooming flowers of the tropical garden surrounding it in the evening. The soft lounge music will be a perfect background for all your meetings and well the food it's something different. We found an amazing Lao woman as a chef, and you can taste her love for the local delicacy with every bite. Kongkhao offers a wonderful range of dishes that can satisfy even the most skeptical diner about Southeast Asian specialties. Every dish is homemade, fresh and MSG free (a real rarity around here).
